Tags in EasySLR are used to categorise and organise studies, enabling quick filtering and efficient navigation throughout the review process.
Why Use Tags?
Tags allow reviewers to label articles based on relevant attributes such as:
- Study type (e.g., cost-effectiveness, burden of illness, quality of life)
- Geography (e.g., U.S., EU5, Asia-Pacific)
- Model type (e.g., Markov model, decision tree)
- Population subgroup (e.g., elderly, pediatric, comorbidities)
This helps in:
- Quick Filtering: Easily retrieve specific subsets of studies when reviewing or analysing results.
- Better Organisation: Keep your dataset well-structured and easier to manage.
For example, if you have a set of articles related to a specific study type, you can assign a tag like "Cross sectional" to all relevant articles. This way, when you need to find or review studies that were tagged Cross sectional, you can simply filter the articles by the "Cross sectional" tag.
Tags can be created during the project setup and assigned to articles during screening, allowing for more efficient organisation and management of the article database.
Example:
If you're conducting an economic evaluation, you might create and apply tags like:
- "CEA" (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis)
- "Budget Impact"
- "UK-based study"
- "Markov Model"
