Direct PDF Uploads in EasySLR

Direct PDF Matching in EasySLR allows users to automatically match and upload multiple full-text PDFs. This streamlines the process of linking full texts with citations—saving you time and effort during the full-text screening stage. Easily match and upload full-text PDFs for screening using our smart Direct PDF Matching feature.

Before starting, make sure you have procured all the PDFs in a local library.

How to Use Direct PDF Matching
Step 1: Go to your project and click on: Uploads > Full Text> Direct PDF Uploads

Step 2: Click “Add Direct PDF Upload” and select the PDFs files (max 150 per batch)

Step 3: Automatic Matching: EasySLR will automatically match each PDF to the corresponding article.
You'll see a table showing:
  • Matched references and PDF names
  • Unmatched items (if any)
  • Preview matched articles before final upload

Step 4: Import Matched PDFs
Click Import PDFs to complete the process. The system will add the PDFs to your articles under the Full Text Screening stage.

Things to Keep in Mind
  • You can run this in multiple batches.
  • Manual upload is still available for unmatched PDFs.

Q. What if a PDF doesn't get matched?
You can manually upload unmatched PDFs later via the "No PDF" section or download the unmatched list and correct filenames.

Q. Is AI involved in this process?
Yes! AI helps enhance matching accuracy by looking beyond exact matches to identify close metadata similarities.
