Organisation templates help you save time by reusing project settings and extraction forms. You can save a project’s configuration as a template, use it to create a new project, or apply its extraction forms to an existing project.
Save a project as a template
Who can do this: Project Owners and Lead Reviewers.
Open the project whose settings you want to reuse.
Make sure the configuration you want to include has been saved.
Click on Project Actions and select the option to save the project as template.
Enter a name and description that help your team identify the template.
Complete the save action.
The template becomes available in your organisation’s template library.
What is saved: Reusable project settings, screening protocols, review reasons, and extraction forms.
What is excluded: Articles, uploaded files, reviews, project membership, billing information, usage information, and smart-tag vocabulary.
Each source project can have one linked template. If you update the project’s configuration later, you can refresh that template after confirming the update. Refreshing a template does not change projects already created from it.
Use a saved template when creating a project
Who can do this: Users with permission to create projects and access organisation templates.
Open Add Project.
Enter the project details.
Choose Organisation template as the setup path.
Find the template you want to use and preview its saved configuration.
Select the template and complete project creation.
EasySLR creates an independent project using the template’s saved settings. Manual setup drafts are not included in template-based creation.
Use a saved template for data extraction
You can reuse extraction forms from organisation templates in an existing project.
Open the project where you want to use the extraction form.
Go to the data extraction form setup area.
Open the organisation-template selection option.

Find a template and preview its extraction sheets or stage-specific mini fields.
Choose whether to Add the template content or Replace the existing content.
Complete the process.
You can edit the extraction form after setup to suit your project’s requirements.
