How to Use the Bulk Include/Exclude Feature in EasySLR?

The Bulk Include/Exclude feature in EasySLR allows users to quickly select multiple articles and mark them as Included or Excluded in a single action. This significantly reduces the time spent on screening large datasets and improves workflow efficiency.

Step 1: Navigate to the Screening Stage
  1. Go to your EasySLR project dashboard.
  2. Open the Title & Abstract Screening or Full-Text Screening stage, depending on your progress.
Step 2: Select Multiple Articles
  1. Click on the checkboxes next to the articles you want to include or exclude, alternatively click on select button and click All.
  2. You can also use filters to quickly find relevant articles.


Step 3: Apply Bulk Inclusion or Exclusion
  1. Once your articles are selected, click on the "Actions" option.
  2. Select the “Review Articles” option.
  1. Choose the applicable Include or Exclude reason from the list.
  2. Submit your decision, and the status will update instantly for all selected articles.
      5. You can also choose to rerun AI on the filtered articles by selecting them and clicking the Rerun AI option. The AI will rerun only on the articles you’ve selected. This functionality is available at both the Title-      Abstract and Full-Text screening stages.

1. Does Bulk Include/Exclude affect AI suggestions?
No, AI-generated suggestions remain available, and you can still review AI-based recommendations even after applying bulk actions.

2. Is there a limit to how many articles I can select at once?
There is no strict limit on the number of articles to be selected at once. Taking bulk decision on a large number of articles may take a few minutes.

3. Clicking on the Ref ID icon selects all articles with that filter or just the one shown on that page? Clicking on the Ref ID icon selects all the articles with that filter, to select individual articles, use the checkboxes next to each one.
