Using AI as a Second Reviewer in EasySLR

EasySLR offers an advanced AI-powered second reviewer feature to work alongside human reviewers, revolutionizing the way literature reviews are conducted. This powerful combination ensures a comprehensive and thorough review process, blending the efficiency of AI with the critical insights of human reviewers.

  • The dual-review system acts as a robust quality control measure, enhancing the reliability of the review findings.
Getting Started:
  1. Go to “Settings”. 
  2. Define your project protocol which includes establishing criteria for article selection.
  3. Navigate to the “Workflow” section and set the number of reviews required per article to “2”.

  1. Head to the AI Copilot section and enable AI as a Reviewer. Note that enabling AI as a reviewer will automatically disable AI suggestions and notes to ensure no bias in human reviews.

  1. As you begin screening articles, AI PICOS will be accessible for reference. Simultaneously, AI will also submit its decisions in parallel in the background, enhancing the screening process with its automated insights.

  1. To understand the Project Statistics, navigate to the Statistics section located in the left sidebar. The progress of the screening at each stage is clearly shown here along with the breakdown for easy understanding.


  1. The Lead Reviewer will be able to view the decisions made by both reviewers during conflict resolution at each stage. After conflicts are resolved, the numbers will update accordingly.
