Article Distribution in EasySLR

The Article Distribution feature in EasySLR helps project owners and lead reviewers to efficiently allocate screening workload among team members. Whether you’re managing a small team or a large multi-reviewer setup, this feature ensures every reviewer gets a balanced, clearly defined set of articles.

Overview
Article Distribution allows project owners and lead reviewers to:
  • Assign articles to multiple reviewers.
  • Divide workload evenly across team members for Title & Abstract and Full-Text screening stages.
  • Control which reviewers are assigned to specific article sets, and designate primary and secondary reviewers as needed.
  • Track progress in real-time.

How to Use Article Distribution

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Select Article Distribution
Step 3: Choose your Review Group
Review Group 1 will act as the primary reviewer, Review Group 2 will be secondary reviewer

Step 4: Allocate articles, Review and Confirm
Define how articles should be distributed between reviewers. Once done, review your setup and click Confirm to finalize the allocation.

Additional Options
  • Re-distribute Articles: If team composition changes, you can reassign articles anytime using the same tool.
  • Unassigned Articles: Articles that are not yet distributed remain available under the Unassigned tab.
  • Progress Monitoring: The owner can track status per reviewer using different metrics:
    • Assigned: Total number of articles allocated to the reviewer.
    • Completed: Number of articles the reviewer has screened from their assigned set.
    • Pending: Number of articles yet to be screened from the reviewer’s assigned set.
    • Reviewed Unassigned: Articles screened by the reviewer that were either unassigned or originally assigned to others.
    • Total Reviewed: Overall count of articles screened by the reviewer.
    • Completed by Others: Articles from the reviewer’s assigned set that were screened by other reviewers.

Once articles are assigned, reviewers can easily select and screen their allocated articles directly from the screening window.
