Managing Article Sorting Preferences in EasySLR
The way articles are displayed during screening can significantly impact the efficiency of your review process. EasySLR provides flexible sorting options so that teams can choose between AI-driven intelligent sorting or a simple RefId-based order.
Default Behaviour
By default, EasySLR uses Intelligent Sorting, where articles are ordered based on AI predictions:
This approach helps teams prioritise potentially relevant articles earlier, improving speed and decision-making.
Switching to RefId-Based Sorting
If preferred, users can disable Intelligent Sorting. Once disabled, articles will be shown in the ascending order of RefIds. This ensures a fixed, predictable order of article display.
How to Change Sorting Preferences
Navigate to your project and go to Settings > Workflow.
Under Article Sorting Criteria, select one of the following:
Intelligent Sorting
RefId-Based Sorting
Save your settings. The chosen criteria will apply across the screening workflow.
Important Notes
Sorting preferences apply at the project level and affect all reviewers in that project.
Changing the sorting preference does not reset or alter existing reviewer decisions.
If Intelligent Sorting is enabled, the order may change dynamically as AI predictions update.
