Save View / Article Assignment Functionality in EasySLR

The Save View feature in EasySLR enables project leads to streamline collaboration by pre-assigning specific sets of articles to individual reviewers. Using filters such as tags, reference ID ranges, and other criteria, you can define custom views and distribute workloads efficiently. Each reviewer can select the articles assigned to them, reducing confusion and eliminating the need for manual setup—ensuring clarity, accountability, and a smoother screening process.

What Can You Do with Assignment?
  • Assign articles to specific reviewers for Title-Abstract or Full-Text screening
  • Distribute records based on reference ID or other criteria.
  • Reassign articles if a reviewer is unavailable or if workload needs balancing
How to Assign Articles
1. Use filters (e.g., by stage, or reference ID) to narrow down the article set you wish to assign.

2. Select the reviewer(s) from the dropdown list,  name the view (e.g., “Keshav’s Articles”) and click Save View.

3. To begin reviewing assigned articles: Go to your project → Screening Stage → Select your assigned articles → Click Review Filtered

This way, reviewers see only the articles assigned to them—no need to set up filters themselves.

Things to Keep in Mind
  • Saved View limits what appears in the filtered view, but reviewers still have access to all articles.
  • Use naming conventions (e.g., ReviewerName-Batch1) to avoid confusion.
  • This can be done for each stage—TiAb, Full Text, Data Extraction.
  • Only users with Project Owner or Lead Reviewer roles can create view.
  • Once a view is created, it cannot be edited; however, you can delete it if needed.
