Manage User Access, Roles and Projects from the Organisation Dashboard

EasySLR now allows Organisation Owners to centrally manage user roles and project access directly from the Organisation Dashboard without needing to open individual projects or be added to them.
This update simplifies user administration, improves access control, and significantly reduces manual effort when managing large teams or multiple projects.

Who can use this feature?
  • Organisation Owners only
  • Project Owners will continue to manage access at the project level, as before

What’s changed?
Previously, managing user access required opening each project individually to:
  • Add users
  • Update user roles
  • Control project access

How this works
Managing Projects from the Organisation Dashboard
  1. Navigate to the Organisation Dashboard
  2. Open the Teams section
  3. Select an individual user to view the project they are part of
  1. From here, you can:
    • View all projects the user has access to
    • Enable or Disable project access for the user

All changes take effect immediately and apply across the organisation.

Managing Project Users
  1. Open the Projects section
  2. Click on Manage Users next to the project.
  1. View all users added to the project
  2. Easily add users or update their roles and access

With this update, Organisation Owners can now:
  • Manage user roles across all projects
  • Assign or remove project access for individual users
  • Perform these actions without being part of the project
  • Do everything from a single, central dashboard

Key capabilities
1. Centralised user role management
Organisation Owners can:
  • View all users in the organisation
  • Update user roles (e.g. Admin, Reviewer, QC)
  • Ensure consistent permissions across projects

This is especially useful when:
  • A user’s responsibilities change
  • Standardising access levels across teams
  • Auditing user permissions

2. Manage project access for individual users
From the Organisation Dashboard, Owners can:
  • Assign a user to one or multiple projects
  • Remove a user’s access from specific projects
  • Review which projects a user has access to—all in one place

This enables quick:
  • Onboarding of new team members
  • Offboarding of users who no longer need access
  • Adjustments when team structures change

3. No need to open individual projects
Organisation Owners:
  • Do not need to open each project
  • Do not need to be added as a project member
  • Can manage access even for projects they are not directly involved in
This dramatically reduces administrative overhead, especially for organisations managing many concurrent reviews.
