Fully Automated TLR Workflow in EasySLR

EasySLR’s automated, AI-powered TLR workflow is designed to help research teams move from search to report faster, with no human intervention. This feature is especially useful for targeted literature reviews, rapid evidence assessments, and early scoping work where speed, consistency, and traceability are critical.

Overview of the AI‑Enabled TLR Workflow
The AI‑enabled TLR workflow in EasySLR includes:
  1. Search Query Generation
  2. Automatic Import of Articles from PubMed
  3. Protocol Generation and Setup
  4. AI-Powered Screening
  5. Automated PDF Retrieval (freely available)
  6. Full-Text Review
  7. AI-Enabled Data Extraction
  8. Automatic Report Generation
Each step is configurable based on your review requirements.

Step 1: Configure Settings for Workflow
Before screening begins, configure Settings:
  • Set Number of reviews required to 1
  • Enable AI as the sole reviewer
  • Enable AI at Title-abstract, Full-text and Data extraction stages
  • Setup Data extraction and Quality assessment forms

Step 2: Navigate to Tools> AI agents> Start Agent


Step 3: Define your research objective and choose whether you want to progress through each stage manually or let the platform automatically advance the workflow to the next step. Once configured click on Start Agent.

Step 4: The platform will automatically notify you by email as each stage is completed and move the workflow to the next step.


Once all steps of the workflow are complete, you can download the final report in Word format.

AI Transparency and Auditability
EasySLR allows users to download detailed information about AI models used at each workflow stage to support reproducibility, governance, and regulatory or publication requirements.
